You join when two members you already know sponsor you on the app. There's no public sign-up — every family is welcomed in by two people who can say, hand on heart, "I know them." That's what keeps each village safe and genuinely close.

Carers are recommended by families who've actually employed them. On a carer's profile you can see who vouched for them, and message that parent directly to ask how it really went. Trust here is active and verifiable — not anonymous stars.
We're starting there so each village is genuinely local and densely connected — Fulham, Chelsea, Notting Hill, Battersea, Bayswater and South Ken. But MLV is built for all of London, and we're opening new postcodes as families join. Leave your email and we'll bring the village to your area.
Never. Whatever you and your carer agree is entirely between you — we don't touch it. MLV is funded by a small membership, not a cut of your hire. We're a community, not a middleman.
