Two kinds of feedback, two depths of trust. References come from families who know a carer’s work over time, current or past employers from long-term roles of more than 6 months, or families who have used a babysitter regularly for more than 6 months. These are the strongest endorsements. Recommendations are lighter notes left by a family after a booking made through the app. On any carer’s profile, you can see exactly who left each one, and message that parent directly to ask how it really went. Here, trust isn’t a row of stars. It’s people you can reach.
No. We don’t take a commission on hires or bookings. What you and your carer agree is entirely between you. My Little Village supports trusted relationships, it doesn’t sit in the middle of them.
