How does sponsorship work?
You’re always introduced.
You join through two people you already know, so the village grows through real connections.
Two people you know vouch for you.
You join when two members you already know sponsor you on the app. There’s no public sign-up. Every family is welcomed in by two people who can say, hand on heart, “I know them.” That’s what keeps each village safe and genuinely close.
Your sponsors say how they know you.
When you add a sponsor, you choose the nature of the link, one of three kinds:
Employer, formally employed you (contract, salary). Only an Employer can leave a reference right away.
Regular client, books you regularly (3+ times in 6 months). No reference at sign-up.
Personal vouch, an MLV parent who knows you personally and vouches for your character. No reference.
The rule: at least one of your two sponsors must be an Employer. So Employer + Employer, Employer + Regular and Employer + Personal all work. Any pair without an Employer isn’t accepted.
